Licensing and Copyright

The journal “Academic Studies. Series “Pedagogy”” provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Full-text access to scientific articles of the journal is presented on the official website in the Archives section.

This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access. The licensing policy is compatible with the overwhelming majority of open access and archiving policies.

Authors retain full copyright over their works. Submission of a manuscript to the journal implies granting the editorial office a non-exclusive right of first publication and permission to distribute the material in both print and electronic formats.

After publication, articles remain the intellectual property of the authors and are made freely available under the open-access license Creative Commons Attribution  International CC-BY. This license permits:

  • free reading, downloading, copying, and distribution of the materials;
  • use, adaptation, and creation of derivative works, including for commercial purposes,
    provided that appropriate attribution is given to the authors and the original source of publication, and any changes made are clearly indicated (if applicable).

Authors are responsible for ensuring that:

  • submitted materials are original and do not infringe the copyright of third parties;
  • all borrowed materials (such as images, tables, excerpts, etc.) are used with proper permissions or in accordance with compatible license terms;
  • the manuscript has not been previously published in identical or substantially similar form in other publications without appropriate authorization.

The journal does not restrict the further use of published materials, except for the requirement to comply with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license and to maintain correct bibliographic citation of the original source.

In the event of copyright disputes, the editorial board acts in accordance with international academic publishing practices, may request supporting documentation or permissions, and makes decisions based on the principles of integrity, transparency, and protection of the rights of all parties.
