Abstract

Pedagogical activity, as no other, always needs to be interesting, actual, convincing and effective in teacher’s work as a translator. One of the such techniques, which gives these criterions and active used in XXI century is a storytelling. Stories from own life and stories about famous people or even fairy and historical heroes attract somebody’s attention on telling before and let to remember all the material. The article is devoted to investigation of this technique tells about the origin, story of appearing the storytelling in sphere of marketing and its spreading into other spheres. Literally translation of this means the skill of telling stories. But it is not simple stories without any aim or final result. Storytelling is a technique of telling stories which has a concrete purpose and more often to influence the listener and convince him (or her) in your rightness, attract into your side even confirm or prove something. The storytelling is analyzed as an effective instrument in pedagogical practice, wording the main criterions of successful using of it during lectures and practical lessons. The main features of storytelling are presence of one or some heroes of the story, clear determined aim of story, logical structure of subject, corresponding story of the material which is taught. The article gives modes of main kinds of storytelling, which may be used in pedagogical activity very effectively. The investigation proves that using the technique of storytelling during lecture lessons promote for the best mastering the material, to excite the curiosity of listeners, create the effect of recognizing and form the individual style of teaching. It helps to make the conclusion about actual of storytelling in modern pedagogical activity and plans for future investigation.
