CREATING A SITUATION OF SUCCESS FOR CHILDREN WITH MANIFESTATIONS OF GIFTEDNESS IN THE CONTEXT OF THEATRICAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

The article outlines current research directions on the problem of giftedness as a complex psychological phenomenon, developing ways to develop the abilities and creative potential of talented children. Emphasis is placed on the scientific approach developed in foreign pedagogy, according to which gifted children are considered individuals with special educational needs. The importance of early identification of potentially gifted children and the development of their abilities at the stage of preschool childhood is shown. The necessity of creating favorable conditions for creative self-realization of talented children in preschool education institutions is substantiated. It is shown that the work on the development of abilities should be combined with the education of a confident and optimistic personality. The essence of the concept of «success» in psychology, «success situations» – in pedagogy is clarified. Success lies in the very nature of the phenomenon of giftedness and is one of the existential needs of a talented person. The development and educational resource of creating a situation of success in the upbringing of gifted children is proved. A gifted child's experience of a situation of success has a positive effect on his personal growth and creative self-realization. It is necessary to ensure that the gifted child experiences the joy of success in various types of artistic and aesthetic activities, in particular, theatrical. The inclusion of children in theatrical activities creates opportunities for them to express themselves, demonstrate their achievements, gain communication experience, and so on. Theoretical and methodological features of creating a situation of success for gifted children in various types of theatricalization are revealed. Pre-school education programs are analyzed and it is shown that their content provides opportunities for organizing theatrical activities of preschool children. One of the conditions for effectively creating a situation of success for each capable child in the course of organizing theatrical activities is the readiness of teachers for this area of professional activity.
