PECULIARITIES OF FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE PHYSICAL THERAPISTS, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS IN THE STUDY OF PROFESSIONAL DISCIPLINES

Abstract

The article considers the main theoretical issues regarding the essence and content of the formation of professional competence in the study of disciplines of professional orientation in the training of future physical therapists, occupational therapists. Socio-psychological and pedagogical health-preserving technologies in the professional activity of physical rehabilitation specialists are theoretically characterized. The importance of the value component in the process of formation of professional competence is substantiated, the bases of modeling the value worldview of future specialists focused on the formation of professional health are revealed. The advantages of using stethotherapeutic methods in the work of specialists in physical rehabilitation in professional activities are substantiated. It has been proven that the effectiveness of the process of physical rehabilitation depends on the willingness of physical rehabilitation specialists to use sociopsychological and pedagogical health technologies. The four components of the content of education and their impact on the future specialist in physical rehabilitation are described. The basic principles of selection and structuring of the content of professional disciplines in the training of future physical therapists, occupational therapists, which will ensure the qualitative formation of professional competence and values of future professionals. The sequence of features of formation of professional competence of future physical therapists, occupational therapists is described. Aspects of the implementation of the principle of connection of science with professional activity, which provides a solid foundation for the formation of professional health, are considered. It is proved that these aspects of the implementation of the principle of connection of science with the professional environment should be based on advanced scientific achievements, as professional activity will be competitive only if it complies with scientific and technological progress.
