SYNTAX AS A LINGUISTIC COMPONENT OF COMMUNICATIVE COMPETENCE HIGHER EDUCATION ACQUISITIONERS

Abstract

In the material of the article, the authors raise the problem of the important place of teaching the «Syntax» section of the educational component (OC) «Modern Ukrainian Literary Language» in the process of preparing masters in the specialty 014 Secondary education (Ukrainian language and literature). The peculiarities of the study of the typology of word combinations in relation to the structure, their semantics in pedagogical higher educational institutions are analyzed, the priorities in the coverage of syntactic phenomena, the set of syntactic units and the rules of functioning of the units of simple syntax are determined. The provisions of traditional grammar are observed. The article examines the question of the importance of observing a unit of syntactic level - a word combination when studying the syntax of the modern Ukrainian language at the philological faculties of pedagogical institutions of higher education. The subject level of methodological analysis is applied, that is, disciplinary methodology as a set of research methods and principles used in the linguistic-didactic scientific discipline, where the scientific discipline itself is the main form of organization of scientific knowledge. Empirical methods of scientific research were used, therefore, the information obtained with the help of these methods of scientific research is the basis for further theoretical understanding of cognitive processes. The peculiarities of teaching «Modern Ukrainian Literary Language» are characterized. Illustrative material for the description of syntactic phenomena was selected from the linguistic content of the collection «Ukrainian folk songs» (edited by: Z. Vasylenko, M. Hordiychuk), which is an example of a Ukrainian folk word. The article was created based on the authors' own research and conclusions based on the results obtained. The relevance and importance of the work is due to the need to expand the students' theoretical knowledge base on one of the most important sections of grammar – syntax.
