Abstract

The article examines modern approaches to integrating artificial intelligence (AI) services into the profesional activity of designers, particularly in the fields of automated layout and intelligent image editing. It analyzes the methodological foundations of using generative models, computer vision systems, contextual analysis algorithms, and tools for automatic content composition. The study identifies the specific features of interaction between designers and AI-based services aimed at optimizing production workflows, improving image quality, accelerating layout preparation, and reducing routine operations. The work systematizes the types of tasks that can be delegated to AI in publishing, graphic, and digital design practices, and outlines the prospects for the development of hybrid workflows in which human creative decisions are combined with automated computational capabilities. Recent research in the field of integrating artificial intelligence into the professional activities of designers demonstrates the active implementation of AI technologies for automating layout, intelligent image editing and generation of creative solutions. Scientific works emphasize two main areas: perceptual tasks, which include the analysis and classification of design elements, and generative tasks aimed at creating new layouts and compositions. Practical cases show the effectiveness of such approaches in web and graphic design, multimedia projects, as well as in automating routine processes, while maintaining designers’ control over aesthetic and compositional decisions. The results confirm that the integration of AI into design environments forms a new methodology of professional interaction, increases efficiency, and expands the creative potential of specialists.
